Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Use govern the use of the TakeTools platform — an online marketplace for renting professional tools.

By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you disagree — please do not use the platform.

2. Registration and Account

  • To list items (as an "owner"), registration is required.
  • Renters can place orders without registration — using their email address for order tracking.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
  • One person — one account. Duplicate accounts may be blocked.

3. User Roles

Renter — an individual or legal entity booking a tool through the platform.

Owner — a person listing a tool for rent. The owner independently sets the price, terms, and availability.

4. Booking and Payment

  • When placing an order, the dates are blocked (status Pending) for up to 24 hours.
  • The owner confirms or declines the rental within this time.
  • Payment is made by agreement between the renter and the owner.
  • The platform is not a party to the financial transaction and is not responsible for payments between users.

5. Liability

  • The platform provides a space for interaction and is not responsible for the condition of tools or user actions.
  • The owner is responsible for the accuracy of the description, availability, and working condition of the tool.
  • The renter is obligated to return the tool in its original condition and within the agreed timeframe.

6. Prohibited Actions

The following are prohibited:

  • Posting inaccurate information about a tool.
  • Using the platform for fraud or illegal activities.
  • Circumventing the system — conducting transactions outside the platform after first contact through it.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. For significant changes, users will be notified by email or through the platform interface.
